Cha In kan in Ningyocho-2

This is the latter half of our report on the tea house, Cha In Kan. Start from the first half!

My First Try!

As this is the first time for me to try authentic Asian tea at a place like this, long consultation with knowledgeable staff inevitably took place.

In the end, I was lead to the Lapsang souchong (¥580 inc refill), believed to be a very root of tea long enjoyed in the UK.

According to the stuff, this tea can be finished a bit smelly unless it's properly processed & brewed. "We'll never let you down with such a poor aroma!" she added.

Tasting Time

Even before the first sip, very relaxing aroma can be perceived & it guarantees its quality. Look at this shiny brown!

Yes, I understood what she told me. From my perspective, the taste can be explained as a great combination of British &Asian tea.

Needless to say, there's no uncomfortable smell nor bitter aftertaste. Wow, my door to the Asian tea world has been now opened!

Check Out Sweets

As the tea is not so pricey, testing some sweets doesn't damage your budget. They have a set of appetizing sweets like almond pudding, chiffon cake & steamed bun.

This time, I gave sesame pudding a try. Look at this smooth gray surface...it's so silky & a spoon goes into with a smooth feel.

As with tea above, you'll know this won't disappoint you even before delivering a piece into your mouth. This is the best pudding I've eaten this year, seriously!

Just hit this place to have a great Asian tea experience!
